Brand New Tyre Supply and Fitting
Price from £40
WHEN DO YOU NEED NEW TYRES?
⚠️ Tread depth below 3mm — legal minimum is 1.6mm but safety experts recommend replacing at 3mm
⚠️ Bulges or bubbles on the sidewall — these can cause a blowout and are an MOT failure
⚠️ Cuts or cracks in the rubber — especially on the sidewall
⚠️ Uneven wear — may indicate incorrect tyre pressure or suspension misalignment
⚠️ Age — tyres degrade over time even if tread looks good. Replace tyres over 5 years old as a precaution
⚠️ Vibration when driving at speed — may indicate a balance issue or internal tyre damage
⚠️ Pulling to one side — can indicate a puncture, incorrect pressure, or alignment issue

Know Your Tyres
The legal minimum tread depth in the UK is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, all the way round. Driving on a tyre below this is illegal and carries a fine of up to £2,500 per tyre, plus 3 penalty points. We check tread depth for free on any visit — just ask.
Summer, winter and all-season tyres perform differently depending on temperature and conditions — most UK drivers do fine on all-season or summer tyres year-round, but if you regularly drive in poor winter conditions, we can advise on winter tyres too. Run-flat tyres let you keep driving for a short distance after a puncture without stopping immediately, but they must be replaced with run-flats (not standard tyres) to keep your vehicle's system working correctly — we stock run-flats for the makes that need them
Tyre FAQs
Q: How do I know what size tyre my car needs?
A: Your tyre size is printed on the sidewall of your current tyre (e.g. 205/55R16). If you're not sure, send us a photo or your registration number on WhatsApp and we'll confirm it for you.
Q: Can I mix different tyre brands on my car?
A: It's best to fit matching tyres on the same axle (both fronts or both rears) for even grip and handling. We'll always advise if a mismatch isn't suitable for your vehicle.
Q: Do you dispose of my old tyres?
A: Yes — responsible disposal is included in every fitting, no extra charge.
Q: Do you check my spare tyre too?
A: Yes, we're happy to check your spare or space-saver at the same time, free of charge.
